This event will explore “The Journey from Manuscript to Publication Through the Lens of Independent Publishing.”

This conversation will feature publishing professionals including Liza Wachter, President and Director of Film & Television at Spiegel & Grau, and Summer Stewart, co-founder and publisher of Unsolicited Press. Together, they will share insights into the publishing journey, author collaboration, storytelling, and the evolving world of independent publishing.

Whether you are currently writing a book, dreaming about publishing one, or simply passionate about literature, this event offers a valuable opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals, connect with the literary community, and exchange ideas with fellow writers and readers.

The event will also include an Open Member Meeting for the Los Angeles Chapter of WNBA, giving attendees the opportunity to meet board members, learn about upcoming programs, and discover ways to get involved and volunteer at future literary events.
